Laramie County Court Records Search

Visits can be made during office hours, Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visitors to the clerk's office can usually search court records themselves, review records, pay court fees, and obtain standard and certified copies of case files. It is recommended that record seekers call ahead before visiting to confirm record availability, request procedures, and fees.

Requests must be in writing and contain information to identify and locate the record, including case number, party names, filing dates, case type, and the documents required. Requesters are also required to pay any copy fees and provide contact information for the return of the records after the request is processed.

Payment is typically accepted in the form of checks or money orders, included in mailed requests. Cash and cards are also accepted during in-person requests. Criminal Records Access in Laramie County

Official state-level criminal records checks for Laramie County and Wyoming criminal records are available from the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI), Criminal Records Unit. For a fee, the Criminal Records Unit processes background checks through itsApplicant Tracking System. Record seekers are expected to get fingerprinted according to the agency's Background Check Instructions and submit the fingerprint card to the DCI for processing. Results will be sent to the address indicated on the fingerprint card.
